The Managing Board is charged with managing the company, which means, among other things, that it is responsible for setting and achieving the company's objectives, strategy and policies, as well as the ensuing delivery of results. The Managing Board is accountable for these matters to the Supervisory Board and the General Meeting of Shareholders. The responsibility for managing the company is vested in the Managing Board as a collective.
The Managing Board is responsible for compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, for managing the risks related to the company’s activities and for financing the company. The Managing Board reports on these issues and discusses the internal risk managing and control systems with the Supervisory Board and the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board.
In the performance of its duties the Managing Board acts in accordance with the interests of the company and the business connected with it, taking into consideration the interests of the company's stakeholders.
